PLACE: Rothesay High School (Library) in Rothesay, New Brunswick. Just a short drive from Saint John.
TIME: Tuesdays, 7:-00 pm - 9:05 pm
NOTE: There are no meetings on storm days or school holidays.
Recognizing exceptional contribution is a part of how Toastmasters support and encourage one another. While every Toastmaster has achievements that have been recognized within the Club, not all can be listed here. Below is an incomplete listing of meritorious activities.
Among the opportunities for our members to win awards are our fall and spring speech contests, as well as our year-end awards.

Evaluation Contest: Nathan Davis - Nathan ended up doing well in the Area contest and went on to represent KV Toastmasters at the Division level.

It's official! Dana Lloyd has won the prestigious District 45 Toastmaster of the Year for 2006/2007. Dana beat out Toastmasters from New Brunswick, Prince Edward Island, Nova Scotia, Maine, Vermont and New Hampshire to win this award. District 45 has 1,800 members - so that's quite an achievement!

Year End Awards
New Hampshire was where we showed the other Toastmasters' Clubs that Kennebecasis is the best little club in the east (I'll add west, north, south and every place in between!). We brought home two distinguished awards: Best Newsletter: Kennebecasis Toastmasters (Yeah! Way to go!); and Speech Contest Third Place: Jean V. Dickson.
Dave Rosvall Memorial Achievement Award: Harry McClenaghan was the winner of a prestigious prize, the Dave Rosvall Memorial Achievement Award. It is awarded for continuous meritorious service to District 45 and beyond. The award is presented in memory of Distinguished Toastmaster Dave Rosvall by his home club Saint John Toastmasters Club 1479. Harry is one of the founders of the Kennebecasis Club and is loved by all its members for his enthusiasm, his delight in the achievements of fellow Toastmasters, his contribution to the club, and his gentle but helpful feedback. Well done, Harry!
