About Our Club

We're the place where you can learn how to effectively speak in public and practise those skills in a safe, supportive environment. The feedback you'll receive will build your confidence while it points out where you need to improve.

Our club is part of the Toastmasters network. Toastmasters has over 10,500 clubs, and more than 200,000 members in countries all over the globe. Since 1924, Toastmasters has trained some of the world's top communicators. Tim Allen (actor), Debbie Fields Rose (businesswoman, Mrs. Field's Cookies), Napoleon Hill (author and inspirational speaker), and Bill Bennett (former Premier of British Columbia) are just a few of the people that have taken part in our program.

Toastmasters helped me to realize my dream to lead 91 Toastmaster Clubs in the Eastern United States and Canada as District 45 Governor.

Our Meetings

If you're in the greater Saint John, New Brunswick area, why don't you come to one of our meetings? Our meetings run from 7:00 pm to 9:05 pm every Tuesday night (as long as school is in session). We meet in the library at the Rothesay High School (61 Hampton Road, Rothesay), next to the arena and across from the Town Hall. We would love to have you attend our next meeting. For directions, check out Google maps. Or give our club president, John Johnson, a call at (506) 849-3674.

The mood in the room that night was extremely positive. The criticism, if any, was constructive. The friendliness made me believe I could and would reach my goals. I knew this group was exactly what I needed to significantly improve my communication skills at all levels!
